Unfortunately paying tax is unavoidable, but why pay any more tax than you need to?
FAJ specialises in preparing individual tax returns, lodging thousands of personal tax returns each year. Our decades of experience and constant technical development will ensure that you claim every deduction that you are entitled to, so that your tax is minimised.
Each individual return is carefully prepared by a professional accountant, who has undertaken extensive study and training, including the latest changes to tax laws and their application, and updated tax rulings from the Commissioner. In addition to completing and lodging your return, our accountants will also answer any minor GST, capital gains or other taxation queries.
We lodge all tax returns electronically so that you receive your refund in the fastest possible time. Most refunds are received within 14 working days or less, and after checking for accuracy at our office, are promptly forwarded to you or paid directly into your bank account.
We also offer a ‘fee from refund’ service to take the hassle out of paying your account.

GST and Business Activity Statements
The GST has proven to be a complex and difficult tax in many areas since its introduction in 2000, and it doesn’t look like becoming any simpler.
We can attend to all of your business and GST related needs including ABN and GST registration, explaining how these systems work, and preparing and lodging your Business or Instalment Activity Statements. We are also keen to teach you how to calculate and prepare your own BAS, so that your professional fees are minimised.
For more complex GST issues, we will provide written or verbal advice at your request.
To make your GST compliance easier and quicker we can assist you in buying, setting up and using accounting software packages such as MYOB and Quickbooks. It is then as simple as sending a disk, emailing your file, or uploading your file and we can prepare your BAS and tax return.
